Project Details
What we need
- Join our mandatory training session on 6 OR 13 April (Sat) at 11am - 12:30pm
- Looking for fun, lively, creative minded individuals to interact with children
- Book lovers with experiences in storytelling are preferred
- Family volunteers and English-speaking only volunteers are welcome
- *Commitment to a minimum of 3 sessions is required.* You can choose your preferred sessions when applying for the project
Background
Through weekly storytelling and creative interactive activities, Kids4Kids Buddy Reading nurtures a lifelong love of books and reading in children (aged 6-12) from all backgrounds, especially in communities in need.
What we have
1.5 hours training session will be provided to help volunteers prepare their Kids4Kids Buddy Reading Sessions. Mandatory Training Sessions: 6 or 13 April (Sat) 11:00am-12:30pm
Why this is important
Kids4Kids Buddy Reading Program aims to cultivate children in reading as a hobby. Through the sessions, we hope to inspire children's creativity and improve their English language ability, as well as boosting their confidence in using English in daily lives.
